1H. Developing K-2 Interdisciplinary Units: Back-Mapping from the CCSS

Description: Teachers will learn how the backwards-design process can be used to develop K-2 interdisciplinary units that address the CCSS. Teachers will need to bring an existing unit plan and a laptop for the session. Teachers will walk away with several tools, including templates and additional resources to begin unit planning for the new school year. Teachers will also be able to use the backwards design process to revisit existing units and begin the alignment to the CCSS.
